The Adventure Begins!!

Hello there, my friends!! (Also all you thousands of millions I haven’t met yet, this is also addressed to you, after all, a stranger’s only a friend you’ve not yet met!!)

I’m sure some of you have been wondering what you’ve stumbled upon here. AutumnHobbit, what is this trickery? Is it magic? Can I eat it??

Well, if you’ve had a nose at the “About” section already, good work, a big thumbs up for you, gold star. For those of you who haven’t, I’ve started this blog today with the aims of :

A) Sharing some of my artwork with you! I’m a third and final year Illustration student, and I’m very excited about it, particularly my final major project which is set to last the whole year (more about that on my next post!)

I also do a lot of drawing for fun, though, and while I can hopefully keep this site a serious place to keep you all updated on the things I’m working on academically, the main thing I want to share with you all is a bit of ZEST and ZEAL! Life is very grey and dull without a bit of humour and silliness!! (However, please note that all artwork is MINE, please see copyright notice at the end of each post.)

B) Getting better at comp-ooters.

C) Keeping all of you lovely readers that little bit more cheery after reading an entry!! Positivity is the key to a rich and happy life.

Ostriches for web final

Let’s be like these Kiwi birds having a ride on the ostrich’s back, and enjoy life’s journey!!

Until next time,

AutumnHobbit 🙂

    YAY!
I absolutely LOVE that sketch. I could easily have covered a wall in my room with a gigantic poster of it, or have an entire book illustrated in that style! =D

    1. Haha! Thankyou so much for your support, as I said, I wouldn’t have even considered it without your help!
Thankyou, it’s one of my favourites too, I’ll have to try and translate some of this year’s work into that style!
      Take care 🙂

  2. Love the ostrich sketch! Thanks so much for dropping by my blog – look forward to seeing more of your work.

        1. Thankyou so much for having a read, Val, I really appreciate it, glad you enjoyed it!! I definitely aspire to be a “batty nan” myself, perhaps I could become your apprentice!
