The Golden Feather

“The Golden Feather”, by Tracy Rees, was published in Norway by Cappelendamm in March 2026 and in the UK by Ronnald Press in June 2026. It follows the story of old Saul Bonnytop and his secret dream of entering the mighty Emperor Jemiel’s great storytelling competition, so far removed from his humble life.
Below are a selection of my favourite black and white vignette illustrations I completed for this project!

The Skin and The Pact (Black Hind’s Wake series) – Chapter Illustration
The Black Hind’s Wake series by J E Hannaford was a dream to work on – book two was released in 2022 and continues to follow Selkie’s journey through a world brimming with human hostility and ancient magic. Click through the galleries below to see my chapter header illustrations for The Skin and The Pact, and head over to the Product Links section to see where to buy these fabulous books!
Middle Grade Fiction : Jump!
“Jump!” by JG Nolan is the inspiring story (based on truth) of Robbie Blair, a young footballer battling against the odds. After a brittle bone disease diagnosis, Robbie is told he’ll never play again- but are his plans to one day play for Celtic really all over? It was a pleasure and a privilege to take this journey with Sergar Creative and bring Robbie’s home of Clydebank to life on the page. Again, take a peek at the Product Links section to see where to buy this exciting chapter book for ages 8 and up.
